Our street food
Alanda’s Street Food can be experienced at our fabulous beachfront trailer location at Longniddry Bents, but we also enjoy taking our street food trailers further afield. Our street food has a strong fish influence, with most of our menu featuring the very best locally sourced Scottish seafood. We bring the taste of the Scottish sea to you with our tasty seafood, from perfectly grilled lobster, fresh oysters, to our soft shell crab burger, cooked in a light batter and served on a brioche bun with crisp salad and spicy tartare sauce. For those preferring a meat option, we also offer mouth-watering Aberdeen Angus burgers, hot off the grill.
Not only is our menu delicious, but it is also unique. We create all of our menu dishes as a family, we change and add items regularly to keep our street food new, exciting and of course flavoursome. As a close family unit, we are passionate about the food we prepare, cook and serve. The care for the food we serve also extends to our suppliers, we source all of our ingredients locally and from suppliers who treat the ingredients with the utmost respect, to ensure that once it reaches us it is at its highest quality possible, for us to create our beautiful dishes fresh and onsite.
Our gelato trailer is available for street food events too. During the summer who can resist a cool, creamy treat like gelato. Here at Alanda’s, our award-winning gelato has many fans, with a huge variety of flavours to choose from. This is a perfect and fun addition to any street food event.

Our street food, including our indulgent gelato, is perfect for any event, giving people a wide variety of flavours to choose from, satisfying all your guests’ taste buds. Street food events are the perfect way to tailor your gathering and bring a unique experience to your guests. Attending street food events also means that we can cook in front of you and your guests, it’s a more personal experience and one that brings a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere to the event as a whole.
Look out for us this summer
We like to get out and about and if you’re a Scottish local or happen to be in Scotland, you may see us on our travels where we serve our sustainably sourced seafood, old school fish and chips and creamy gelato throughout Scotland. This year we will be attending The Royal Highland Show, Borders book festival and Edinburgh Fringe festival. Showcasing the wide range of events our street food can be hired for. We hope to see some of you at these events, which are always extremely popular during the Scottish summer.
