As featured in...
“Here almost 30 years and I hadn’t noticed Alandas until I came to a pop-up in Edinburgh, during the Fringe - and they became the best fish and chips in the city.”
“A three-stop pilgrimage might have to be arranged, elevenses gelato in North Berwick, followed by lunch on the beach, and then a fish tea to end the day. Summertime in Scotland has never tasted so good.”
Artist Fionna Carlisle featured Alandas in her painting dedicated to her mother’s 100th birthday. “Mum much prefers a fish supper there than going to an expensive restaurant because the food is so fresh and the surroundings are so beautiful.”
“East Lothian’s Alandas will be the catch of the day with their fresh seafood, old school fish and chips and their homemade award-winning gelato.”
Our award-winning gelato is handcrafted by our family using fresh local ingredients, making it as creamy as ever.
